It can impact on your thoughts and feelings, detach you from everyday life and isolate you from friends and family.
No doubt you will have seen every specialist, had every test and taken every treatment on offer. You may feel stuck on a pain medication plan, seemingly without a way out. You’ll feel frustrated that there appears to be no effective techniques or treatments that are helping to manage your pain.
Imagine if you could :
Get to the root of your persistent pain and resolve it
Experience less fear of movement, less anxiety and more joy
Resume the life that you want to lead

Client testimonials
Chronic back pain has been a constant with me for over 20 years. I'm usually a positive person, but over the last few years the pain has ground me down and taken over my life to the point where my anxiety caused me to cancel a holiday as I was stressing over what I may not be able to do. I had reached a dark place and was desperate for help of some kind.
Pain is invisible and hard for people untouched by it to understand. Fiona understood. She has been there and that’s what makes the difference.
Every session was tailored to the things that were relevant to my pain, how it was affecting my life and how I was thinking about it. Fiona has helped me understand how to change the way of thinking about my pain so that I am now in control of it, not the other way around. We covered so many things that can also affect pain and how to change their effect.
It has been such a positive experience, so rewarding and has not only helped with my understanding of how to manage my pain going forward, but has increased my confidence.
I am so very grateful. Thank you for giving me the real me back.
I found the experience extremely positive. The range of topics we covered together were broad and wide-ranging, but always tailored to and led by me. Even better, it has been effective in impacting change in my life that had become difficult, stressful and depressing. I have been able to change my mindset about my chronic pain management and my outlook on life, relationships and parenting…
…It has really reduced my stress and anxiety, giving me a greater feeling of control of a life I had felt was out of control…it has been such a rewarding experience and I will always be grateful for the support and empathy shown to me at a time when I really needed help.
Thank you.
The problem with pain relief
You know the traditional path of treating your chronic pain isn’t working. Pain medication and other treatments are only effective up to a point – they can treat the symptoms of persistent pain, but not the cause.
Yet despite tests and scans, you may never know the cause of your pain. Diagnosis hunting can prove frustrating because it doesn’t actually help you to manage your pain. To do this, you need to understand what’s triggering it. And it’s not usually something that can be found on a scan.
Prescribed pain relief, such as morphine, not only dumbs down your perception of pain, but also everything else around you. It can stop you from being completely present in your own life and in those of your loved ones. With the alternative being constant pain, and the isolation and fear it can bring, it can seem impossible to find a way out.
A different way of managing persistent pain
Having suffered from chronic pain myself, I fully understand your fear and frustration. My experience led me to become a fully qualified Functional Medicine Health Coach, specialising in chronic pain management. My expertise brings with it the empathy that only someone who has been in your shoes can bring. And while everyone’s situation is different, I can relate to the despair you feel when you’ve hit a brick wall with your treatment or the anxiety you have when your medication is delayed.
However, it is possible to help yourself, by learning to understand your pain and challenging your perception of it.
I can help you discover what lifestyle factors may be impacting your chronic pain and how negative thoughts and feelings can make it worse. We’ll work together towards your goals, agreeing strategies to enable you to manage your pain, maintain a healthier lifestyle and live the life you want to lead. Right now your pain is controlling you. It’s time to take that control back.
